MAGLOCLEN, Queens County District Attorney’s Office, New York City Police Department and the East
Coast Gang Investigators Association will be hosting the 17th Annual Violent Gang Conference at the
International JFK Airport Hotel (Formerly Holiday Inn JFK), 144-02 135th Avenue, Jamaica, New York
11436-1831, (718) 659-0200 or (800) 692-5350. A special room rate of $115 for single or double occupancy
(plus 14.75% tax & $3.50 occupancy tax) has been arranged at the International JFK Airport Hotel. Room
reservations are the responsibility of the attendee. This special rate is in effect until May 18, 2011.

The agenda for this information sharing conference will include discussions from law enforcement
agencies focusing on the activities of a wide range of metropolitan gangs. Speakers will also discuss
investigative techniques, police officer safety and other relevant topics that will enhance the law
enforcement officer’s approach to combating gangs in their jurisdiction. CONFERENCE RESTRICTED
TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE PERSONNEL ONLY. This training is approved for Continuing Legal
Education Credit (CLE).
The conference registration fee will be $40 per attendee, which will include the cost of two continental
breakfasts, ONE luncheon and conference related material. Registration deadline is May 27, 2011. Only
checks, money orders & cash are accepted. Please make checks & money orders payable to Queens
County District Attorney’s Office. Registration starts 7:30 a.m. on June 1, 2011 with the conference
commencing promptly at 9:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. On June 2nd, the conference will run from 9:00
a.m. -4:00 p.m.
