before June 22, 2012
All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit, or guaranteed with a major credit card.
All reservation requests will require a one (1) night's advance deposit via check or credit card. Reservations must be cancelled
at least twenty four (24) hours prior to arrival date to avoid being assessed a one night’s cancellation charge.
Based upon Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA)'s total program requirements as outlined in this agreement,

Guestrooms will be confirmed for standard City view Rooms. Upgrades to Riverfront/Riverview Rooms may be available at
an additional charge at check-in.

Early arrivals and/or late check-outs cannot be guaranteed. Hotel will be able to arrange for luggage storage for those arriving
early or for those planning a late departure.
Conference Pre-Registration will be Monday July 23, 2012 5:00pm-6:30pm.
Conference will end on Friday July 27, 2012 12:00pm.
The Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel offers ample Self-parking for the guests and attendees at the discounted rate of
$9.00 daily per vehicle.
The Hotel has noted GGIA’s request to exempt attendees from the local lodging tax, currently 6%. In order to comply with
tax-exempt laws in the State of Georgia, an authorized Georgia lodging tax-exempt form must be presented by each
attendee at check-in. ”No adjustments will be made at check-out”. Please note state tax of 7% is still applicable.
Georgia does not recognize out-of-state exemption forms.
Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 13% plus $1.00 city occupancy fee) in effect at the
time of check-in.
Specific room requests such as number of beds in the room can be made at the time of booking. Please note, many special
requests are limited and are based on hotel availability.
The State of Georgia has passed a law that prohibits smoking in public areas and restaurants. Our Hotel is a smoke-free
building. Fees will be assessed for guests not adhering to the non-smoking policy.
This agreement is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, including health and safety codes, alcoholic
beverage control law, disability law and the like. Hotel and Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) agree
to cooperate with each other to ensure compliance with such laws.
